Free Summer Meals with RCPS!
Roanoke City Public Schools will offer free summer meals to children ages 18 years or younger June 8-July 31 through the USDA's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Dates and times will vary by location.
We are so excited for the 2026-2027 school year!

Hurt Park students will be prepared for life in a diverse and rapidly changing world. The school, parents, and community will work together to provide a learning environment that develops academic, social, physical, and artistic skills that promote a desire for life-long learning for all students.

Dr. White, who has led RCPS since July 2020, will retire at the end of the 2026-27 school year.

100% of children in the Roanoke and New River Valleys now have access to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

We have now restored limited access to Canvas in a secure environment, allowing students and staff to log in and download needed course materials.
